Newark ~ Daniel "Shark" Lee Guerra, 24, self employed contractor went to be with our Lord Sunday, January 15, 2012 in Fort Worth.
Graveside service is 10 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Aurora Cemetery. Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate. Pallbearers are Kyle Ortez, Boyd Stockard, Jon Guerra, Scotty Lindsey, Brandon Ash and Matthew Perry. Honorary pallbearer is Michael Owens. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.
Daniel was born on June 29, 1987 in Greenwood, Mississippi the son of Ricky and Diane Guerra. The light of Daniel's life was his brother Jon and his nephew Gage. "Shark" you will be missed and never forgotten.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his stepfather, Ricky Thornton and Dana Ortez of Newark; his brothers, Michael Anthony Lindsey of Newark, Christopher Wayne Morris of Newark, and Jon Guerra and wife Donelda Ortez of Newark; his mother, Diane Lindsey of New Mexico; his nephew, Gabriel Gage Guerra of Newark; his grandparents, Dora Cairnes of Newark, Billy and Dorothy Gray of Newark; his uncle, Roger Cairnes of Newark; other family members and a host of friends.
