Decatur ~ Daniel Patrick Jordan, 48, of Decatur went to be with our Lord Wednesday, August 11, 2021 in Decatur, Texas.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Dr. David Lowry will officiate.

Daniel was born May 26, 1973 to Roger Dale and Deborah Lafaun (Herron) Jordan in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was united in marriage October 10, 2010 to Alicia Paige Dewett in Decatur, Texas. Daniel was an assistant general manager at Karl Klement Dodge in Decatur, he also spent several years in law enforcement.  Daniel loved spending time with family camping,  grilling and all things outdoors. He was a beloved husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, and owner of the best traveling buddy, Maverick; all will dearly miss him.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Alicia Jordan of Decatur; his parents, Dale and Debbie Jordan of Decatur; his sons, Keaton and Kolton Jordan of Decatur, and Grant Seckel of Colorado Springs; his daughters, Savanna Richard and Walker of Rhome, and Sadie Seckel of Decatur; his grandmother, Vivian Jordan; two grandchildren, Dean Richard, and Hinson Richard of Rhome;  his sister, Deanna Jordan of Rye, Colorado; his best buddy and traveling companion, Maverick; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
