Daniel Ingram Mooney, Jr

Decatur: Daniel Ingram Mooney, Jr., 60, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, April 2, 2009 in Decatur.

Memorial service is 10 a.m., Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Roy Spore officiating.

Dan was born on June 1, 1948 in Decatur, Texas to Daniel and Ruth (Hopson) Mooney, Sr. He married Cheryle Cook on January 14, 1969 and was married 39 years at her death on April 6, 2008. He married Mary Elizabeth Johnson on February 14, 2009.

Dan served in the United State Army and the United States Marines during the Vietnam War. He worked at Lockheed-Martin Aviation for 28 years as an aviation electrician. Dan was a member of the Wise County Veteran
