Danny G. Cobb

Decatur ~ Danny G. Cobb, 75, went to be with our Lord Monday, February 7, 2022 in Decatur.

Danny was born November 6, 1946 to Bill and Maureen Cobb. Danny married Sharon Austin on March 5, 1968 and they raised three daughters.

He was survived by wife Sharon Cobb of Decatur, daughter Renee Hugon and husband Billy of the Woodlands, Dana Cobb of Decatur, and Tessa Fano and husband Steve of Decatur. Along with two granddaughters Sydney and Salone Hugon and three bonus grandchildren Mado Degraf, Zach and Megan Fano, with great-grandson Noah. Sister, Shari Brooks and husband Kelly, nephew Mike McMurray and wife Samantha of Azle. His mother- in- law Rose Austin of Ft. Worth and numerous nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Bill and Maureen Cobb, and father-in-law, T.M. Austin.

Danny was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He spoke fluent Spanish. Danny proudly served in the United States Army and was a veteran of Vietnam, he attended Victory Church in Decatur. Danny owned a wholesale seafood market in Ft. Worth for many years. In later years he was a homebuilder and ran a successful sheet rock and drywall company. He loved to hunt and fish, but his true love was music. Danny was an accomplished guitarist and love to sing. He also loved to build classic cars.
