Darla Jean (Robinson) Mccallum

Boyd ~ Darla Jean McCallum, 79, a retired Boyd school teacher, went to be with our Lord Monday, November 12, 2018, in Decatur.

Graveside service is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Grove Cemetery #1 in Decatur. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd.

Rev. Mark Autry will officiate.

Darla was born September 11, 1939, to Clifford and Bernie (Tranthum) Robinson in Fort Worth.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter, Tifanie Perkins; and her brother, Michael Lee Wooley.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Scott Tallman of Boyd, Stephanie Perkins of Rhome, Eric Tallman and wife Carole of Abilene, Shelly Huddleston and husband Danny Mac of Alba, and Richard McCallum of Alba; her grandchildren, Tesa Sivernell and husband Jr of Keller, Gregory Hipps and wife Briana of Weatherford,  Jason Hipps and wife Erica of Saginaw, Reagan Pendley, Jordan Kennedy, Danielle Huddleston, and Raven McCallum; her 8 great-grandchildren; her brother, Larry Robinson and wife Marie of California; her sister, Shari Mosier and husband Dan Morrow of Pahrump, Nevada; Charlie and Francis McCallum of Greenville; plus numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
