Darwin was born on March 3, 1931 to Buford and Eula (Emerson) Justice in Decatur, Texas. He soon left home after joining the U.S. Air Force to serve his country. Darwin was stationed in Everett, Washington where he met his wife Darlene. He was united in marriage on October 15, 1954 in Everett, Washington. Darwin graduated business school and they began their journey, living on and off in Washington. The couple lived in Bedford, Texas where he worked for GTE as a yellow pages salesman for 29 years. Eventually settling in Alvord, Texas once their children were married. He was a member of Alvord Assembly of God Church.

All that knew Darwin knew that his great love was for Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior and his family. Though he took his faith seriously, he had quite a humorous side to him. He could keep you laughing for hours. And as he would say to this…”Well Yeah!”

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Darlene Justice of Alvord;  his sons, Duane Justice and wife Tina of Newark, and Dan Justice and wife Sharon of Saginaw; his daughter, DeeAnn Carr and husband Randy of McKinney; his brother, Don Justice and wife Bonnie of Fort Worth; 11 grandchildren, Kayla, Gerret, Ashlee, Aliya, Jonathan, Emily, Luke, Joanna, Michael, Austin, and Caitlyn; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
