David Churchill Miles

Decatur ~ David Churchill Miles, 85, went to be with our Lord Monday, October 16, 2023.

Celebration of Life is 2-7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Avondale Heights VFW in Haslet, Texas

David was born June 14, 1938 to Churchill Falsom and Janet (Cloud) Miles in Maine. He was united in marriage to Christine Lopez in May of 1997 in Tennessee. David was retired from Imperial Fabricating after many years working for the company. He proudly served our country in the United States Army serving as a Warrant Officer for 22 years. David was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Churchill and Janet Miles.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of over 26 years, Christine Miles of Decatur; son, Eddie Gonzales of Decatur; daughters, Ramona Marten of Lawton, Oklahoma, Terry Donahue, Cindy Miles, and Lauren Miles; grandchildren, Miracle Gonzales, Elijah Gonzales, Genisis Gonzales, Jessica Whalen, Heather Sarvis, and Christopher Whalen; great-grandchild, Axel Jones; his sister, Kathy Mullen; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
