Paradise: David L. Douglas, 45, a minister, went to be with our Lord Saturday, December 4, 2010 in Decatur.

Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Reverend Craig Erb to officiate.

David was born July 14, 1965 to Robert and Marion (Bennett) Douglas in Fort Worth. He married Dena Jo Kemper on December 8, 1990 in Irving.

David was preceded in death by his mother.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 20 years, Dena Douglas of Paradise; his son, David Wayne Douglas of Paradise; his granddaughter, Sapphire Douglas of Farmers Branch; his father, Robert Douglas of Irving; his brothers, Terry Douglas of Irving, Robert Douglas of Missouri, Roy Dale Douglas of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.

Dear Douglas Family,

Please accept our heartfelt feelings of concern and love from the Young family to you. We love you all and greive for your loss of our David. We are saddened of the thought our our Uncle burrying his child, a wife griveing her mate, children trying to understand the loss of a Father or Grandfather, and most of all tyring to comprehend loosing a brother.
