David was born on August 12, 1961, to David E. and Peggy (O’Neal) Smith in Hawthorne, California. He was a mechanic and a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his father, David E. Smith.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Renee Brown and husband Condrell of Fort Worth, and Rachel Smith of Fort Worth; his son, David Smith of Fort Worth; his 7 grandchildren, Dakota, Zoe, Chloe, Serenity, Julianna, Jessica, and Nicole; his 2 great-grandchildren on the way; his sisters, Joanna Soliz of Fort Worth, Margaret Doggett and husband Bill of Fort Worth, and Patricia Smith of Newark; his mother, Peggy O’Neal of Newark; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
