David A. Gawor

David A. Gawor, 71, went to be with our Lord Monday, November 2, 2020 in Ft.Worth, Texas

David was born December 7, 1948 to Bernard and Sophie (Gancarich) Gawor in Gary, Indiana. He received his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Indiana and was a retired security detail manager for F.E.M.A. David proudly served our country in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Sophie Gawor; and his brother Robert Gawor.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Sara Gawor Overton and husband Chance of Decatur; his sister, Beverly Smiley and husband John of Indiana; his niece, Terra Nightengale; his nephew, Ryan Smiley; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
