David Bertred Hill

Decatur ~ David Bertred Hill, 63, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, May 31, 2023 in Bridgeport, Texas.

Memorial Visitation is 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel.

David was born March 20, 1960 to Eldred and Berneice (McDaniel) Hill in Greenville, Mississippi. He was a retired construction worker in the construction industry for many years. David loved working the Ft. Worth Stock Show, doing so many years, he was an avid John Wayne fan also. He was a licensed pilot, also enjoyed hunting and fishing. David was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eldred Hill.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his 2 sons, Jeremy Hill and wife Dana of Liberty Hill, and Dewey Hill and wife Carrie of Bellvue; 6 grandchildren, Whitt, Taryn, Charlie, Cedar, Lily and Canyon; a brother, Leslie Hill and wife Deborah of Alvord; 2 sisters, Faith Turner and husband Kevin of Okinawa, and Ruth Miller and husband James of Nashville; his mother, Berneice Hill of Justin; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
