Burial: Boyd Cemetery. Visitation: 2-4 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Survivors: wife: Bette Hines of Boyd; sons: Damon E. Hines of Boyd, Douglas E. Hines of North Carolina; sisters: Roberta, Linda, Martha, Nita; brothers: James and Toby Hines; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
