RHOME -- David Jewell, 63, a farmer, passed away Friday, July 18, 2008, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Aurora Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Rev. Jeff Tackett will officiate. Pallbearers: Trae Hamm, Trae Luttrett, Pedro Angel, Mark Shearer, Weldon Ellis, Tony Trimble, Johnny Williams, and Robert Ransom.
David was born on July 3, 1945 in Spokane , Washington, the son of David Henry, Jr. and Frances (Carleton) Jewell. He married Brenda Stubbs on March 18, 1967 in Bossier City, Lousiana. He was preceded in death by his father.
Left behind to cherish his memory is: Wife of 41 years, Brenda Jewell of Rhome; daughters, Stacey Calvery and husband, Richard of Paradise, Mandy Olivares and husband, Jimmy of Austin; grandchildren, Bailee, Nathan, Victoria; mother, Frances Jewell of Shreveport, Lousiana; brother, Kenny Jewell and wife, Sharon of Montrose, Colorado; sister, Pat Pickett and husband, Owen of Lake Charles, Louisiana; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.
