Chico: David Ray Jones, 65, a concrete contractor, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, January 2, 2014 in Decatur, Texas.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
David was born September 25, 1998 in Odessa, Texas to Kenneth Norman and Vera Ethel (Alexander) Jones. He served in the U. S. Army. David graduated from Decatur High School in 1965.
David is preceded in death by his son, Micah Jones and his parents.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Misty Sparks of Tyler, Texas; four brothers, Jimmy and Keith Jones of Decatur, Joe Jones of Palestine and Mike Jones of Bridgeport; four sisters, Julie Cottrell and Jane Miller both of Chico, Sonia Padam of Fort Worth, and Joy Litton of Robinson, Texas; two grandchildren, Taylor Lucas and Ethan Sparks.
