Decatur ~ David Edward Lowrance, Jr., 90, a retired warehouse manager for American Motors, went to be with our Lord Saturday, April 16, 2011 in North Richland Hills.
Graveside service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Eternal Oaks Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home.
Speaker is Charles Todd.
David was born June 23, 1920 to David Sr. and Jessie (Seward) Lowrance in Arlington, Tennessee. He married Norma Wellborn on May 31, 1941 in Arlington, Tennessee. David served his country in the infantry in the US Army during World War II.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 69 years, Norma W. Lowrance of Decatur; his sons, Mike Lowrance of Decatur and David Lowrance of Bedford; his grandson, Alan Lowrance; his sister, Dorothy Nunnelee of Memphis, Tennessee; other relatives and a host of friends.
