David was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Patsy (Walker) Meek. Survivors: Daughters, Lori McKinney and husband, Chris of Springtown, Kimberley Meek of Yates Center, Kansas and Heatherly Meek of Aurora; grandchildren, Lauren, Brittany, Chase, Christian, Brenden and Jennessa; stepdaughter, Tonya and her children, Brianna, Alicia and Jonathon; and sisters, Nancy Teal of Bonham, Texas and Martha McConaghie of Yates Center, Kansas.
