David Ray Sisk

Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday, at the First Baptist Church of Alvord, Texas with Reverend Bill Cleveland officiating. Interment will be in Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Pallbearers are Charlie Tibbels, Jason Cunningham, Thomas Wilde, Steve Hankins, Michael Foster and Scott Kelsey. Honorary Pallbearers are Tom Wilcox, Dave Edelen, Mark McCune, Niles Smith, and Kenney Boner.

David was born on May 15, 1955 in Bowie, Texas to Arvil Edgar and Francis Evelyn Grissom Sisk. He married Kathryn Chester on December 17, 1976 in Alvord, Texas. He was a computer programmer for EDS in Plano. David was looking forward to becoming a first time grandparent in March, 2009.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 31 years, Kathy Sisk of Little Elm; 2 sons, David Len Sisk of Carrolton, Jerimy Ray Sisk and wife, Nicole of Crossroads, Texas; 2 sisters, Wilma Hunt of Arlington, Lois Boner of Bowie; 2 brothers, Milton Sisk of Decatur; Arvil Sisk of Alvord; numerous nieces, nephews and host of friends.

Kathy, I am so sorry to hear about David. I loved being in choir and Sunday School with you guys. I love that you ask for Christmas colors. I pray that God will bring comfort and peace to you and your family. We know David will have a wonderful Christmas celebration in heaven
