David Eugene Jackson

Krum~ David Eugene Jackson, 67, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, January 23, 2022 in Krum.

Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Chico Cemetery in Chico, Texas. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport.

David was born on July 9, 1954 to Albert Russell Jackson, Sr. and Jolora Irene Cutshall Jackson in Forum, Arkansas. He worked as a machinist and welder for many years. David liked sports of any kind and his favorite hobby was fishing, which he did so every chance he could.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-daughter, Rebecca Washburn; his siblings, Joanne Hefner, Gretta McDonald, Carol Danley, and Jerry Jackson.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Washburn Jackson of Krum; his son, David Wayne Jackson and wife Brandy of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; his daughter, Melissa Gail Jackson of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; his stepchildren, Donna Leleux and husband Dave, Daniel Lutz and wife Mandy, Apryl Lovell and husband Justin, and Rhonda Lee and husband, Wesley; his grandchildren, Davian, Kaiden, Kyle Wayne, Jaden, MyKala, Tyla, Madelyn, Taryn, Leslie, Ashton, Keelynn, Kyle, Alivia, Bailey, and Avreal; his siblings, Brenda Aaroe and husband Richard of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Barbara Nottingham of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Doris Hunt of Enid, Oklahoma, Donna Hunter and husband Lee of Sanger, Texas, Winnie Jackson of Cofferville, Kansas, Patricia Self and husband Chuck of Owasso, Oklahoma, and Albert Jackson, Jr. of Coweta, Oklahoma; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
