David Morris Partin

Plains ~ David Morris Partin, 68, formerly of Chico, a farmer, went to be with our Lord Sunday, October 14, 2018, in Plano.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Richard Young will officiate. Pallbearers include Jay Hudson, Vic Partin, Lee Largent, Wes Partin, Audie Largent, and Roger Harrison.

Morris was born on November 11, 1949, to David and Bobbie (Julian) Partin in San Jose, California. He was united in marriage to Donna Largent on July 17, 1970, in Bridgeport. Morris was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lovington, New Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, Donna (Largent) Partin of Plains; his son, Dan Partin and wife Jessica of Plains; his grandchildren, Grayson Partin and Annie Partin; his brother, Virgil Partin and wife Georgetta of Abilene; his nephews, Vic Partin and wife Ferrin and Wes Partin; and a host of friends.
