Lake Worth~ David Thomas Smith, 66 years, 6 months, 11 days, entered into rest on Friday, July 1, 2022 in Lake Worth, Texas.

Graveside Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2022 in the Smith Family Cemetery 4427 FM 920 in Balsora, Texas.

David was born on December 21, 1955 to Robert Thomas Smith and Geneva Counts in Jacksboro, Texas. He was a backhoe operator and pipeliner for many years in the oilfield. David was united in marriage to Joyce (Thornton) Smith on September 27, 2007 in Weatherford, Texas and made many wonderful memories. He was a beloved husband, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend and more who will be missed by all that knew and loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Thomas Smith and Geneva Counts.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 14 years, Joyce Smith of Lake Worth; his brothers, Lyndon Smith, Kevin Smith and wife Azizah, Tim Smith, Jack Smith and wife Jayne; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family; his two aunts; and a host of friends.
