D.C. Webb

Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Visitation 1 p.m. Friday. Rev. Ken Choate will officiate.

D.C. was born on September 16, 1926 in Wolfe City, Texas, the son of Benjamin Franklin and Blanch (Woodard) Webb.

He worked for Lockheed for 38 years and was a Flight Line Dispatcher when he retired. He was a member of the UAW (United Aerospace Workers). D.C. was a foster parent to 37 children.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Donald "Rock" Webb; a daughter, Tammy Webb Dixon; 3 sisters, Billie Faye Webb, Pearl McCool, and Bennie Wright; and his sister-in-law, Margie Webb.

Left behind to cherish his memories are: wife of 39 years, Marcia Webb of Chico; sons, Lawrence Roy Roberts of Chico, E.R. Roberts and wife Cathy of Boyd, Cody Carlton Roberts and wife Johanna of Decatur, James "Buddy" Webb of Chico; foster son, Lee Hendrix of Oregon; daughters, Dee Ann Webb DeKleva of Chico, Serena Michelle Webb of Chico, Bethany Hope Webb of Chico, LaTisha Roberts of Dallas; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Jack Webb of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Bob Webb and wife Nelda of Moore, Oklahoma, Roger Webb and wife Denise of Palmer, Texas; sister, Melba Curlee and husband Odie of Cleburne; brother-in-law, Lawrence Beck and wife Angela of Missouri.
