Paradise ~ Debbie Collie, 56, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Sunday, March 11, 2012 at her home.
Graveside service is 2 p.m. Thursday, March 15 at Rubottom Cemetery in Marietta, Oklahoma. Mr. Floyd Cabler officiating. Pallbearers are Aaron Collie, Nicholas Collie, Dennis Cate, Chad Rushing, Michael Cate and Jason Rushing. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Debbie was born on January 12, 1956 to Leonard and Pauline (Bilbrey) Rushing in Lubbock, Texas. She was united in marriage to Steve Collie on June 28, 1975 in Plainview, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Tutor, PeeWee, Bo, Chuck and Dinky Rushing.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 36 years, Steve Collie of Paradise; her daughter, Staci Collie of Paradise; her sons, Aaron and Nicholas Collie both of Paradise; her grandchildren, Hannah Collie and Aiden Hernandez; stepdaughter, Keisha Harrison of Big Springs; her sisters, Helen Newsome, Shirley Cline, and Linda Cate; her brothers, Butch and Mikey Rushing; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
