Paradise ~ Debora Read, 61, a housewife, went to be with our Lord Friday, April 29, 2016 in Decatur.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Cottondale with burial in Paradise Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Home.
Rev. Charles Pugh and Rev. Terry Terry will officiate. Pallbearers include Bud Read, Barry Read, Russell Read, Eric Harris, Chad Thompson, and Lee Robinson.
Debora was born on March 5, 1955 to Bill and Bobbie (Martin) Read in Bridgeport. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Toni Ward; and great grandson, George McCulley.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Eric Harris of Paradise; her grandchildren, Lee Robinson, K.D. McCulley, Skylar Ward, Megan Harris, and Kylie Sanders; her great grandchildren, Cameron Robinson and Kandi McCulley; her parents, Bill and Bobbie Read of Paradise; her brothers, Bud Read and wife Shiela of Paradise and Barry Read of Dallas; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
