Deborah Jo Price

Chico ~ Deborah Jo Price, 72, went to be with our Lord, and the love of her life, her husband, peacefully on Sunday, December 10, at her home in Chico.

Funeral Service is 11:00 a.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Deborah was born on September 24, 1951 to J.D. and Ana Mae (Wall) Flowers in Bedford, Texas. She was united in her forever marriage to her husband, William “Bill” H. Price. Deborah was a very accomplished, loved, and profound teacher of over 25 years at Chico Middle School. She was the best mother, nana, and anchor to her family. Deborah was well known through the community and loved everyone as if they were family. She never met a stranger. In fact, it didn’t matter who you were, she ended every conversation with “I love you”.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Ashley Price and Chris Marcus of Chico, and Angela Frazer and husband Trevor of West Tawakoni, Texas; her grandchildren, Camdyn, Kolston, Wallace, and Autumn; several nephews who were like sons to her and a host of friends and family. Her ornery yet immensely caring heart and smile will be missed by all.
