Deborah Ann (Matous) Stalkup

Decatur ~ Deborah Ann Stalkup, 63, went to be with our Lord Thursday, January 12, 2023.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Rise Church in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation is 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Paul Milligan and Greg Mohr will officiate. Pallbearers include Ethan Stalkup, Christopher Stalkup, Rick Davis, Keith Meisinger, Trevor Rhoades, and Donald McMaster.

Deborah was born May 22, 1959 to Wesley and Lucille (Hempel) Matous in Carrolton, Texas. She was united in marriage September 19, 1992 to Ronald Wayne Stalkup in Decatur, Texas. Deborah was an Administrator in the Job Placement Industry for many years scheduling interviews, drug test, and evaluations. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Ronnie Stalkup of Decatur; her sons, Ethan Stalkup of Decatur, and Christopher Stalkup of Decatur; her parents, Wesley and Lucille Matous of Carrollton; her brothers, Gene Matous and wife Marie of Carrollton, Richard Matous of Ponder, and Michael Matous of Carrollton.
