Rhome: Denis Vito DiGiovanna, 62, a self-employed restaurateur, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, November 22, 2009 in Corinth.
Memorial service is 4 p.m. Saturday, December 5th at Full Life Fellowship Church in Decatur with Reverend Chris Brown officiating.
Born February 18, 1947 to Joseph and Marthe Chapuis DiGiovanna in Staten Island, New York. He married Solveig Rasanen on June 8, 1980 in Temple City, California. Denis served in the United State Air Force from 1969 to 1977.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 29 years, Solveig Digiovanna of Rhome; two sons, Joseph and Mark DiGiovanna of San Jose, California; daughter, Veronica Miles and husband Randy of Fort Worth; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Jocelyn Miles; mother, Marthe Lanza of France; sister, Tina DiGiovanna; two brothers, Joseph and Michael DiGiovanna; numerous nieces, nephews and host of friends.
Denis is preceded in death by his father.
