Dewey Dwaine Jewett

Benbrook ~ Dewey Dwaine Jewett, 65, went to be with our Lord Monday, January 6, 2025 in Runaway Bay. 

Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 19th, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport.

Dewey was born on February 17, 1959 to Clifford Harold and Wilma (Acree) Jewett in Wheeler, Texas. Clifford was united in marriage to Elizabeth “Liz” Jewett for 40 years before his passing. Dewey owned and operated J&J Services providing AC and Heating services. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. Dewey was a beloved father, grandfather, partner, brother, and a friend to many that will miss him dearly. 

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Athena Jewett and partner Josh Brake of Azle and Heather Jewett and fiancé Samuel Boatner of Benbrook; his grandchildren, Cheyenne Ashwill, and husband Adam, Scarlette Harkleroad and fiancé Ethan Keaton, Devon Jacques, and Jeffrey Murphy, Jr.; his partner, Martha McPherson; his brother, Jason Jewett; his sisters, Karen Milam, Joyce Gale Thrasher, and Gwin Van Hyning; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
