Dixie Bridges

Paradise ~ Dixie Charlene Bridges, 77, went to be with our Lord, Friday, March 29, 2019 in Cleburne.

Graveside service is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Wilson Prairie Cemetery. Family will receive friends, Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Rev. Fred Raney will officiate.

Dixie was born March 29, 1942 to Charles and Elsie Irene (Baker) Webb in Brownfield, Texas. She was united in marriage August 12, 1959, to Pete Bridges II in Brownfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Pete Bridges.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Cary Bridges and Rhonda Scheller of Cleburne, Scotty Joe Bridges of Alvord, Pete Bridges and wife Misty of Paradise, Charlie Otis Bridges and wife Sophie of Paradise; her daughter, Kay Williams and husband Jerry of Paradise; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; her sister, Joanne Hughs of Oregon; her brother, Dwight Webb and wife Barbara of Weatherford; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
