Decatur ~ Dois Orten Staley, 82, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in Decatur.
Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home Chapel.
Pallbearers include, Blake Horner, Wayne Horner, Michael Shackelford, Jacob Hughes, Chase Markum, Cody McKenzie, Bradley Tedrow, and Brandon Tedrow.
Dois was born on April 5, 1938 to Jess William and Nellie (Willis) Staley in Stratford, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Jay, Bill, Jesse and David Staley; and his sisters, Earnesteen Ince, Irene Spruill, and Anita Prince.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Daniel Staley and wife Cindy of Decatur, Doug Staley and wife Cindy of Decatur; his daughter, Valerie Tedrow and husband Monte of Boyd; 9 grandchildren, Blake and Wayne Horner, Katherine Shackelford, Melissa Hughes, Ashley Markum, Heather McKenzie, Brandon and Bradley Tedrow, Sierra Snodgrass; 15 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters, Quanah Gower, Leona Caves, Jane Perry, Margie Deal, and Nellie Elroy; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.Service Schedule
