Roanake ~ Donald Worth Davidson Jr., 71, former hairdresser at Lou Lattimore's in Dallas and retired Cosmetology Director, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, November 8, 2016 in Roanoke.
A graveside memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday November 19, 2016 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur, Texas.
Donald was born on April 20, 1945 to Donald and Evelyn (Workman) Davidson in Decatur, Texas. Don was passionate about breeding and showing afghan hounds. He enjoyed figure skating and performed in ice shows. He was Involved with Macaw and bird enthusiast groups, was a rabid Texas Longhorn fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents;
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sister, Alice Ellen Davidson Schur and husband Donald of Hondo; his niece, Deena Schur Everest and husband David of Houston; his nephew, Bradley Schur and wife Rachel of Benbrook; numerous great nieces and great nephews and a host of friends.
