Decatur: Donald Kennith Goode, 70, a welder, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 in Fort Worth.
Graveside serve is 2 p.m. Saturday, July 19th at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery No. 1 in Decatur, with Welton Watson officiating. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Donald was born June 25, 1938 in Vernon, Texas to Alfred Edell and Delmar Willie Bell (Beal) Goode. He married Amy Louise Watson on August 4, 1961 in Decatur and he served in Korea in the United States Army.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of almost 47 years, Louise Goode of Flatwood; daughters, LaNesa Stanley, Donna Baker and Cindy Woodruff all of Flatwood; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; sisters, Vivian Cox, Nora Hotz and LoNeta Idell.
