Donald Clayton "Don" Hull

Ponder ~ Donald Clayton “Don” Hull, 82, went to be with our Lord Saturday, March 13, 2021.

Funeral Service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with burial at Oakwood Cemetery in Jacksboro. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Gerre Joiner will officiate.

Pallbearers will include Wally DeJesus, Jordan Freeman, Julian DeJesus, Aaron Johnson, Phillip Freeman, and Dusty Rhoades.

Don was born August 3, 1938 to Clyde Clayton Hull.

He was united in marriage October 8, 1966 to Gloria Inell in Weatherford, Texas. Don was retired after many years as a Mechanical Engineer in the Aviation Industry. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. Don loved roses, planes, the Texas Rangers, and golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Gloria.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Debbie Freeman; his grandchildren, Billy Jack King and wife Mona of Stephenville, Jennifer Freeman DeJesus and husband Wally of Ponder, and Lindsay Johnson and husband Aaron of Rowlett; his great-grandchildren, Jordan Freeman, Julian DeJesus, Mary Grace King, Kathryn DeJesus, Eric Johnson, Ethan Long, Kennedy DeJesus, Lila Long, Riley Johnson, Landen Long, and Huntleigh Johnson; great-great-granddaughter, Morgan Freeman; his nephews, Dusty Rhodes and Richard Rhoades; his cousins, Rick and Anna Hull, and David and Sue Hull; and a host of friends.
