Donald Wayne Hyatt

Donald Wayne Hyatt, 76, went to be with our Lord January 26th, 2023 in Aurora Texas.

Funeral service is 11 AM Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Waypoint Church in Rhome with burial at Aurora Cemetery.  Family to receive friends 6-8 PM Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd. The Reverend Michael Allogio and the Reverend Jeremy Laux to officiate.  Pallbearers: Kevin Drake, Marvin Idell, James Idell, James Evans, Chris Evans, Chris Rhine and Jonas McEntire.

Donald was born October 23, 1946 to Clarence and Janie Evans Hyatt in Rhome, Texas.  He was a retired machinist for Bell Helicopter and a member of the Assembly of God Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Willis Aaron Hyatt; 3 sisters, Pauline Idell, Leora B Hofacker and Erva Lee Judge.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Dorothy Ann Drake and husband Kevin of Boyd; his son, Rickey W. Hyatt of Aurora; grandchildren, Ashley M. Drake of Boyd, Alisha M. Drake of Decatur, Kevin R. Drake and wife Leah of Paradise; great grandchildren, Madison Drake, Ryder Meador, Hayden McCuller, Riley McCuller, Tyler McKibben, Kaylee Drake and Tanner Drake; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
