Decatur ~ Donalda “Donnie” Floyd, 77, went to be with our Lord Thursday, November 14, 2019.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Pastor Jacob Rose will officiate.  Pallbearers include Blake Horner, Wayne Horner, Micheal Shackelford, Jacob Hughes, Steven Miller, and Michael Davis.

Donnie was born on July 15, 1942 to Tom and Fern Story in Grandview, Manitoba, Canada. Donnie had many jobs, but her favorite was cherished grandmother. She was the nucleus of her family and will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Bill Slagle and Ivan Floyd; her brother Les Story; 2 grandchildren, Hope Horner and Faith Horner; and her nephew, Mark Britton.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are four daughters, Cindy Staley and husband Danny of Decatur, Brenda Miller and husband Guy of Greenwood, Jaimie Lanier and husband Johnny of Decatur, Kim Earwood and husband Kevin of Krum; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Peggy Harris and husband Doug of Grandview, Manitoba; Karen Stevenson and husband Mike of Swan River, Manitoba; Patti Onofriechuk and husband Brian of Roblin, Manitoba; Sue Britton and husband Brian of Vulcan Alberta; Chuck Story and wife Audrey of Morinville, Alberta; and sister-in-law, Jan Story of Winnipeg, Manitoba; nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
