Donna was born on March 9, 1948 to Jimmie and Otella Ruth (Petty) Chappell in Decatur. She retired from Miller Brewery. She was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sister, Cheri Chappell Burks and husband Shawn of Azle; her brother, Robert Chappell and wife Peggy of Azle; 3 nephews, Lance Burks and wife Shaye of Granbury, Kerry Rivers and wife Lacie of Keller, and Derek Rivers and wife Lauren of Azle; 5 nieces, Kimmy Chappell of Bridgeport, Tammy Hastings and husband Alex of Chico, Amber Bustamante and husband Justin of North Carolina, Melissa of Dallas, and Angie Foster and husband Paul of Springtown; her aunt, Ann Jones of Houma, Louisiana; 26 great-nephews and nieces; 7 great-great-nephews and nieces; other relatives and numerous very close friends.
