Alvord: Donna Marie Doherty-Talley, 47, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, December 19, 2012 in Alvord.
Funeral is 10 a.m. Saturday, December 22nd at the Church of Christ in Alvord with Chester Cullum officiating. Interment is 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Gardens in Grand Prairie, Texas. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Shane McCoy, Steve Rocha, Heath Wilson, Taurus Talley, Preston Hartfield, Bradley Hartfield, Eric Miles and Stewart Brewer.
Donna was born December 29, 1964 in Grand Prairie, Texas to Donald and Barbara (Driver) Doherty. She was united in marriage to David Talley on November 9, 2001 in Bourne, Texas.
Left behind to cherish her memory are husband, David Talley; father, Donald Doherty and wife Jennifer of Grand Prairie; sisters, Debbie Doherty and husband Steve Rocha of Azle and April Doherty of Plano; two nieces, Kristen McCoy, Brittanie Wilson and husband Heath; five nephews, Shane McCoy, Austin, Jordan, Camren, and Dylan Brewer; great nieces and nephews, Tyler and Cody Miles, Braden and Haleigh Wilson and Konnor McCoy; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Doherty and uncle, Tommy Driver.
