Donna Jean (Lambert) Taylor

Decatur ~ Donna Jean Taylor, 68, went to be with our Lord Monday, September 6, 2021.

Memorial Service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur.

Donna was born December 31, 1952 to Floyd and Annie (Lofton) Lambert in Decatur, Texas. She was united in marriage in 1972 to Robert Lee Taylor in Durant, Oklahoma. Donna graduated Cook County Nursing School with an Associate’s in nursing in 1984. She was a retired RN after 38 years in the medical field. Donna was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Annie Lambert; and her twin brother, Ronald Lambert.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 49 years, Robert Lee Taylor of Decatur; 3 sons, Chris Taylor of Bryan, Brad Taylor and wife Stephanie of Decatur, and Tim Hill and wife Kristy of Spring; 3 grandsons; 1 great-grandchild; 2 brothers, Clifford and Floyd Wayne Lambert; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
