Alvord ~ Donnie Howard Cockrell, 64, a carpenter, went to be with our Lord Monday, August 12, 2019 in Alvord.
Memorial is 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2019 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur.
Donnie was born on April 25, 1955 to Gerald and Daury (Garrison) Cockrell in Big Spring, Texas. He was united in marriage to Monika Lee Inman on January 24, 1995 in Midland, Texas. Donnie was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 15 years, Monika Cockrell; his daughter, Magen McVeigh; his sister, Jana Hector.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Kambrah Wiseman and husband Greg of League City; his son, Jamie Moore and wife Ashley of Cleburne; his grandchildren, Jonah, Mason, Kade, Aiden, Macie, Courtnie, and Kenley; his great-grandson, Slater; his sister, Debbie Ellis; and a host of friends.
