Donnie Wayne Mcguire

Decatur~ Donnie Wayne McGuire, 64, went to be with our Lord on Friday, July 8, 2022 in Decatur, Texas.

Graveside Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2022 in Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur.

Donnie was born on June 5, 1958 to Clyde McGuire and Inita (Hale) Myers in Stigler, Oklahoma. He went to school and graduated from Decatur High School and was a truck driver for many years.  Donnie was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially cherished his play time with his grandchildren.  Donnie was a loving son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle, who will be missed greatly by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde McGuire; his brothers, Ricky, Ronnie, and Lonnie McGuire; and his niece, Terra Eakman.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Inita Myers of Decatur; his sister, Debbie Eakman and husband Terry of Decatur; his brother, Johnny McGuire of Bridgeport; his son, Donnie McGuire, Jr. and fiancé Natalie Jimenez of Decatur; his daughter, Shaunda Fort of Denton, Texas; his six grandchildren; and one great-grandson; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and extended family members.
