Newark ~ Dora May Cairns, 82, a retired lab technician, went to be with our Lord Monday, June 16, 2014 in Newark .
Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2014 at Renewal Fellowship Church in Boyd with burial in Aurora Cemetery . Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Rev. Jerry Hood will officiate. Pallbearers include Richard Alarcon, Paul Bukak, Thomas Cairns, Ed Benoy, Lee Draper, and Thomas Tidwell.
Dora was born on June 11, 1932 to Wheeler and Ellie Mae (Pennington) Lindsey in Sidon , Mississippi . She was united in marriage to Darin Thomas Cairns on September 27, 1961 in Yuba City , California . Dora was a lab technician for StyroChem.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Darin; her son, Wayne Morris; and her grandson, Daniel.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Roger Cairns and wife Shari of Newark; her grandchildren, Cassy, Rachel, Thomas, Richard, Kaitlin, Jonathan, Michael, and Christopher; her great grandchildren, Jazmyne, Alex, Gabby, Noah, Gabriel, Gauge, Levi, Preston, and Payton; her brother, Peck Lindsey; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
