Dora Elia Castruita, 58, of Bridgeport went to be with our Lord Saturday, August 20, 2011 at her home in Bridgeport.
Funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, August 25, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Decatur with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home.
Rev. Juan Rodas will officiate. Pallbearers include Ruben Ramirez, Jose Ramirez, Javier Hernandez, Ramiro Jr. Hernandez, Nolberto Paniagua, Victor Ramirez, Marcos Hernandez, and Noe Carrisalez.
Dora was born on February 23, 1953 to Jorge and Cruz Ramirez in Madero De Rio Jimenez, Cauhila, Mexico. She married Donaciano Castruita on June 3, 1972 in La Muralla, Jimenez, Coahuila, Mexico. Dora was a member at the Primera Iglesia Bautista Church.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 39 years, Donaciano Castruita; her son, Steven Castruita and wife Diana of Bridgeport; her daughters, Sylvia Reyes and husband Miguel of Decatur, Nora Rivera and husband Jose of Paradise, Dellanira Rodriguez and husband Eduardo of Bridgeport, Yoelda Reyes and husband Hector of Bridgeport, Rosa Reyes and husband Sergio of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, Alexandria, Angelica, Beatrice, Mariah, Eduardo Jr., Jacqueline, Gisselle, Josiah, Jasmine, Camille, Aleayah, Jennifer, Sylvia, and Sergio Jr.; her great grandchild, Anthony Colorado; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
