Doris Delaine (Watson) Barnard

Decatur ~ Doris Delaine Barnard, 91, went to be with our Lord Friday, January 20, 2023.

Celebration of Life will be at a future date.

Doris was born May 26, 1931 to William Hardy and Bennie Alzina (Pleasant) Watson. She was united in marriage November 1965 to Johnny Barnard in Weatherford, Texas. Doris was a Decatur High School graduate. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bennie Watson; a sister, Dorothy Elaine DoByns; a nephew, Lanny Lasiter; and a great-grandson, Wyatt Spillers.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are, her husband of 57 years, Johnny Barnard of Decatur; her sons, Gary Mason and wife Marsha of Chico, and Steven Mason and wife Marci of Trophy Club; grandsons, Ryan Mason, Casey Mason, Damon Mason and wife Pam, and Avery Mason; granddaughters, Molly Mason and husband Damien Spillers, and Mikaila Wungow and husband Joezer; great-grandchildren, Liam Mason, Krimsen Succetti, Lakota Mason, Adley Mason, Sawyer Spillers, Townes Mason and Hayes Spillers; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
