CHICO -- Doris Davis, 87, a retired custodian for the Chico school district, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, in Decatur. Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Chico. Burial: Chico Cemetery. Mrs. Davis was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chico where she was a Sunday School Teacher of the 4 and 5 year olds for 40 years. Survivors: Nephew, Tommy Lee Ward and wife, Deborah; nieces, Teri Ward, Jonna Strickland, Glenda VanHoose and husband, Raymond, and Nelda Vincent; 8 great nieces; 8 great nephews; 15 great-great nieces; 18 great-great nephews; 9 great-great-great nieces; 3 great-great-great nephews; and sister-in-law Pauline Ward. Pallbearers will be: Joe Seiger, James Seiger, Bobby VanHoose, Ralph Evans, David Evans, and Willie Jack Vincent.
