Doris L. Jackson

RHOME -- Doris L. Jackson, 77, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, in Decatur.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Abundant Life Worship Center in Newark.Rev. James Hurst officiating. Pallbearers: John Peterson,Gary Kopp,Rick Henderson,Walter Ransom,Robert Splawn, John Weaver.Hononary Pallbearers:Jason Sullins,Larry Sprabary,Roberto Saldana,Tom Peterson and Sammy Turner. Burial: Aurora Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at Christian-Hawkins Chapel.

Doris was born on Oct. 22, 1931, the daughter of Sidney and Ethel (Teetle) McGoodwin. She was a member of the VFW Womens Auxillary and Abundant Life Worship Center. Doris was preceded in death by husband Billy Frank Jackson,Daughter,Becky Fite, Brother,James L. McGoodwin and Sister, Betty Sue McGoodwin.

Those left behind to cherish her memory: Daughters, Nancy Berry of Rhome, Re Deanna Hines and husband Butch of Rhome, Son, Anthony Jackson and wife Betty of Plant City,Florida.

Grandchildren; Mikeul, Ronnie, Jennifer, Stephanie, Sidney, Stacy; Great grandchildren: Tony, Chaz, Miranda, Areanna, Mikella, A.J., Bailey, Makayla, Devon, Kyla and Vanessa; Great Great Grandchildren: Hailey and Ryann

Sisters, Katherine Shultz of MoJave, California, Lois Ham of Aurora.

Extended family, Bobbi Liles and husband Mark, Michelle Kopp, Danelle Bishop, and Sandee King.
