Bridgeport ~ Dorothy Lee Patterson, 82, a homemaker went to be with our Lord Friday March 9, 2012 in Bridgeport.
Graveside service is 2 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2012 at Chico Cemetery in Chico. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate.
Dorothy was born on March 7, 1930 to Jerry and Ruth (Garrett) Hendon in Stephenville, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her granddaughter, Becky Washburn.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Rebecca Elam and husband Wayne of Bridgeport and Mary Washburn and Dave Jackson of Bridgeport; her son, O.N. Patterson and Mitzi Tollis of Bowie; 20 grandchildren, 34 great great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter; her brothers, J.E., Bill, and Dave Hendon; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
