Decatur: Dorothy C. Riley, 91, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord, Monday, April 2, 2012 in Decatur.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Thursday, April 5th at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Isbell officiating. Interment: Greenwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Bill DeBorde, Jack DeBorde, Johnny Slimp, Zachary Tipton, Jack Dill and Pete Siapen.
Dorothy was born on December 1, 1920 in Forestburg, Texas to Henry Washington and Maude (Duff) DeBorde. She was united in marriage to Homer Charles Riley on May 28, 1939 at Callisburg, Texas.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and five sisters.
Left behind to cherish her memories are two sons, Charles Henry Riley and wife Sandra Annette of Decatur, Hoyt Riley of Sanger; two granddaughters, Saretha Riley of Adrian, Michigan, Monica Slimp and husband Johnny of Decatur; three great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
