Stoney/Ponder ~ Dorothy June Taylor, 90, retired co-owner of Taylor Chevrolet, went to be with our Lord Thursday, April 20, 2016 in Corinth.
Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2016 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Rev. Gerre Joiner will officiate.
Dorothy was born on August 14, 1926 to Newt and Sarah (Gargis) Easley in Tarrant County. She was united in marriage to Floyd Tayor on August 3, 1943, in Boyd. Dorothy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd Taylor; and her brother, Harold Easley.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Dan Taylor of Corinth; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.
