Dorothy Trammell

Dorothy Trammell BRIDGEPORT -- Dorothy Trammell, 84, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009 in Bridgeport. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Twin Oaks Assembly Of God Church. Interment: West Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate. Pallbearers will be Steven Trammell, Kane Trammell, Chad Trammell, Sherman Goines, Robbie Dunn, and Rodney Dunn.

Dorothy was born on October 9, 1925, in Bridgeport, the daughter of John W. Ryan, Sr. and Ethel (White) Ryan. She married Bennie Trammell on March 13, 1943 in Grand Prairie, Texas. He preceded her in death on August, 16, 1995. Dorothy was a retired restaurant owner and a member of the Twin Oaks Assembly Of God Church.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are: her sons, Danny Trammell and wife Linda of Bridgeport, Karo Trammell and wife Suzanne of Fort Worth; grandchildren: Steven, Whitni, and Chad; great grandchildren: Kane, Brooklyn, Bristol, Madison, Mary Claire, and Katie; brothers, Robert Ryan of Lake Worth, Jimmy Ryan and wife Dorothy of Keller; sisters, Pauline Hess of Fairfax, Minnesota, Margie Gale of Warren, Michigan, and Shirley Wynns of Lake Worth.
