CHICO -- Dortha Peek, 81, a retired Wise County Sheriff's Office employee, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2006, in Plano. Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Morris Memorial United Methodist Church in Chico. Burial: Chico Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home. Survivors: Daughters, Patty Sloan and LaDonna Peek; sons, Fred Peek and Jerry Peek; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
