Dottie Freeman-Delong

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 3rd at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Dottie was born June 25, 1925 in Snohomish, Washington to Albert Andrew and Hulda Margarita Dorothea (Martens) Butler. She was united in marriage to Hickey Erceldean Freeman on February 3, 1943 in Houston, Texas and was married 49 years at his death on March 6, 1992.

Dottie was currently a member of Grimes County Cowboy Church in Navasota, but prior to her moving to Navasota she had been a longtime member of Greenwood Baptist Church.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Sharon Rossiter and husband Steve of Lewiston, Idaho, Linda Mooney and husband Mart of Decatur, and Molly Hurst and husband Tommy of Navasota, Texas; six grandchildren, Orus M. Mooney, Jr. and wife Missy, Shanda DeWitt and husband Derek, Amy Alicia Buchanan, Clifton Robert Buchanan and wife Jana, Darrell and Mary Lynn Hurst; 11 great grandchildren, Bethany and Jadon DeWitt, Wyatt Mooney, Jade Leigh and Case Michael Buchanan, Brad and Ryan Hennigan, Cheyenne and Chelsea Butler, and Paden and Ramsie Hurst; great-great-granddaughter, Carsyn Lynn Busse; other family members and a host of friends.
